Christmas cards

Online Christmas cards with music

A song can say what a card can't. Every Tadavite Christmas card can carry one: choose from our suggestions, or paste a link to the song that is yours, and it arrives with your message.

There are two ways to send one, depending on the card you want.

  1. Christmas cards in a sealed envelope

A Christmas scene with the greeting in foil. It arrives as an envelope on their screen; one tap breaks the wax seal and the card opens to your message.

    • Six Christmas songs to choose from: All I Want for Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey), Last Christmas (Wham!), Fairytale of New York (The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl), It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas (Michael Bublé), Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (Judy Garland), How to Make Gravy (Paul Kelly)
    • Or paste your own Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube link
    • When they open the card, buttons play it on Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube
    • Open it as they will before you pay

You get a private link to send by text, WhatsApp or email.

    $3per card, no account needed.

  2. The Christmas card studio

Illustrated Christmas cards in collections from heartfelt to cheeky. Click any card to see the message inside, then add your own words.

    • Paste a Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music link, and they get a button to play it
    • Or link an MP3 or M4A file, and it plays inside the card

Share the card's link by text, WhatsApp or email.

  3. 24 Days of Us

For your partner, a love song every morning until Christmas Eve, chosen by you for each door.

    Behind the doors

    • Letters, memories and small dares
    • A date to choose, with a version for couples who are apart this December
    • A love song each morning if you like, from Etta James to INXS
    • Your own photos, and on Signature and Bespoke, voice messages and videos

For the person you love. Every door is already written; change as many as you like.

    From A$15

Choosing the song

Choose something they will know from the first few notes: the song you danced to, the one that was always on in the car on the way to Christmas lunch, or the carol your family sings badly every year. If you are not sure, our six suggestions are well-loved Christmas songs, from Mariah Carey to Paul Kelly.

How the music plays

We don't copy or host anyone's music. The card carries the song's title and artist, or your link, and they tap to play it on the service they already use. Only a direct MP3 or M4A link, in the studio, plays inside the card itself.

Questions people ask

Can I use any song?

Yes, if it is on Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube: paste its link. In the Christmas card studio, a direct link to an MP3 or M4A file plays inside the card.

Does the song play by itself?

No. They tap to play it, so a card opened on a quiet train stays quiet.

Does the song cost extra?

No. On a sealed-envelope card you pay for the card, and the song comes with it.

Do they need an app or an account?

No. They open the link in their web browser, on a phone, tablet or computer.
